Carry out property surveys across social housing, focusing on planned and responsive works, including kitchen and bathroom refurbishments. It will include travelling to different sites across the East Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey properties, identify defects, and produce schedules of works
- Read, interpret, and validate kitchen plans and layouts
- Coordinate with contractors, residents, and internal teams
- Ensure works meet building regulations, health & safety, and social housing standards
- Monitor on-site works for quality, compliance, and cost efficiency
- Provide technical advice across trades, including plumbing, electrical, joinery, and tiling
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a surveyor in social housing or similar environment
- Ability to read technical drawings and kitchen plans
- Knowledge of plumbing and other trades
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Relevant qualification in building surveying, construction, or equivalent experience
- Full UK driving licence
