About the Role
We are working with a growing refurbishment contractor specialising in pub renovations across London. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join their team, working on fast-paced pub refurbishment projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of various flooring types including vinyl (sheet & tiles), LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), safety flooring, carpet tiles, laminate and engineered wood (where required).
- Floor preparation including latex/screeding and subfloor repairs.
- Reading and working from drawings and site plans.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Floor Layer (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Experience working on commercial refurbishment projects (pubs or hospitality experience desirable).
- Strong knowledge of floor preparation techniques.
- Own tools and PPE.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
