We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing and well-established business delivering high-quality commercial and retail projects. This role would suit someone who is confident in mechanical estimating and is now looking to progress into a position with greater autonomy, responsibility, and influence, while still being fully supported by a team of highly qualified engineers and experienced business leaders.
The Role
- Preparing mechanical tenders for commercial and retail projects
- Typical tender values averaging around £2 million
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates
- Working closely with engineers, commercial teams, and senior management
- Contributing to value engineering and tender strategy discussions
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator (or similar role)
- Background in commercial and/or retail construction projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services
- Comfortable working with a degree of independence
- Ambitious and keen to continue developing your career
