Main responsibilities:
- Carrying out basic vehicle and refrigeration checks
- Delivering chilled, frozen and ambient stock safely
- Unloading orders and completing handovers at each site.
- Recording deliveries accurately using our delivery app
- Reporting delays, discrepancies or vehicle problems promptly
- Returning the van clean, secure and ready for its next journey
What we’re looking for:
- A full UK driving licence
- A driving record acceptable to our motor insurer
- Confidence driving a commercial van over longer distances
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- The ability to work independently
- Good communication with the operations team
- The ability to load and unload boxes safely
- Previous van-delivery or multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Successful applicants will need to complete right-to-work, driving-licence, reference and motor-insurance checks before driving the company vehicle.
