We are looking for an organised and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of highways and transport projects across the region. Working within the Highways & Transport team, you will assist with project coordination, stakeholder engagement, programme monitoring, procurement support, and contractor management to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of highways and transport schemes
- Coordinate project plans, meetings, and documentation
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, costs, and risks
- Support procurement and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements
About You
- Experience supporting projects or programmes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Interest in highways, transport, or infrastructure
- Knowledge of project management principles

- PRINCE2/APM or relevant qualifications
