Senior Site Manager – Braintree 3 Positions Available | Residential New Build | £75,000–£85,000 + Car Allowance + Package We are currently working with an established residential house builder who is looking to appoint three Senior Site Managers across three new developments in Braintree, Essex. Each development will consist of approximately 120–150 traditional-build units, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a substantial residential project from site delivery through to completion. The Role Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of your development, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, to a high standard and in line with commercial objectives. You will have a team of one Site Manager and one Assistant Site Manager reporting into you, providing leadership and direction across the site. Key responsibilities will include: Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the development Managing and coordinating the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager Overseeing traditional-build residential construction from groundworks through to completion Managing programme, quality, health & safety and build standards Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team Ensuring homes are delivered to the required specification and programme Driving high standards of build quality and site presentation Monitoring progress and resolving any issues that may impact delivery About You We are looking for experienced Senior Site Managers with a strong background in traditional-build residential construction. You will ideally have: Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale residential developments Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods Experience managing Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers A Level 6 NVQ in Construction Management Strong understanding of programme, quality and health & safety requirements Excellent leadership and communication skills A track record of delivering projects to programme and quality expectations For more information please contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
