Assistant Site Manager – Braintree 3 Positions Available | Residential New Build | £45,000–£55,000 + Package We are currently working with an established residential house builder who is looking to appoint three Assistant Site Managers across three new developments in Braintree, Essex. Each development will consist of approximately 120–150 traditional-build units, providing an excellent opportunity to join an established site team and play a key role in the delivery of a substantial residential development. The Role Working alongside the Senior Site Manager and Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the development, helping to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is confident coordinating trades and subcontractors and is looking to continue developing their career within residential construction. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities Monitoring progress against programme Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring build standards are maintained Supporting the management of health & safety across the site Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and company standards Monitoring and reporting on build progress Working closely with the wider site team to resolve issues and maintain programme Supporting the project through to completion and handover About You We are looking for experienced Assistant Site Managers with a strong background in traditional-build residential construction. You will ideally have: Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager within residential new build Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades A Level 4 NVQ in Construction Management Good understanding of health & safety, quality and build programmes Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider site team A genuine desire to progress within residential construction For more details please contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
