The Role
- You'll be responsible for leading production operations across multiple live developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest possible standards.
- You'll provide strategic leadership to Contracts Managers and site teams, driving operational performance while maintaining exceptional quality, customer satisfaction and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple residential developments across the region.
- Provide leadership and support to Contracts Managers and site management teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to exceptional quality standards.
- Drive a positive health & safety culture across all developments.
- Monitor programme performance, buildability and operational efficiency.
- Identify and manage project risks while implementing practical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities and supply chain partners.
- Support pre-construction activities, value engineering and future business opportunities.
- Champion sustainability, quality and continuous improvement throughout the construction process.
- Mentor and develop regional production teams, creating a high-performance culture.
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Production Directors or Senior Operational Leaders who can demonstrate:
- A proven track record delivering large-scale residential developments valued at £40m+.
- Extensive experience within the house building sector, ideally working for a national house builder or regional developer.
- Strong leadership experience managing multiple Contracts Managers and site teams.
- Excellent knowledge of UK construction practices and current Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience working with Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance quality, programme and cost.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SMSTS, First Aid and NEBOSH qualifications.
- Experience using ASTA Powerproject would be advantageous.
