An experienced Electrical & Mechanical Supervisor is required for an 8-month contract based in Woodbridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical and mechanical installation activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical and mechanical subcontractors and site operatives.
- Coordinate daily site activities and monitor progress against project programmes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure works meet project specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Manage site documentation, permits, and progress reports.
- Support commissioning and handover activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within electrical and mechanical projects.
- Strong understanding of M&E installations and construction site operations.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.
- Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
