This is a hands-on position, where you will be expected to carry out remedial works alongside supervising operatives, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

  • Supervise and coordinate operatives carrying out damp and mould works
  • Carry out hands-on remedial works when required
  • Lead by example and support operatives on-site
  • Manage contractors and in-house teams to ensure works are completed to a high standard
  • Carry out property inspections, quality checks and monitor remedial works
  • Identify damp and mould issues and ensure appropriate remedial solutions are completed
  • Monitor workloads, schedules and health & safety compliance
  • Liaise with tenants, clients and contractors to resolve issues and provide updates
  • Ensure works are completed within agreed timescales and contract standards
  • Complete job sheets, reports and other relevant documentation
  • Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day delivery of the damp and mould programme

Proven experience as a Working Supervisor, Supervisor or experienced Multi-Trade Operative. Previous experience within social housing, property maintenance or responsive repairs. Experience working on damp and mould remedial works is highly desirable. Strong practical knowledge of building maintenance and property repairs. Ability to carry out hands-on works alongside supervising a team. Experience carrying out property inspections and quality checks. SMSTS certification. Strong understanding of health & safety requirements. Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills. Full UK driving licence.
