The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
Responsibilities include providing financial insight to support management decisions in the form of monthly management accounts, KPI reports, and ad hoc analysis as required. Key tasks involve:
- Production of management accounts, posting of journal entries, and production of monthly WIP schedule.
- Maintenance of fixed asset register.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Overseeing payroll function and responsibility for monthly salary payment.
- Monitoring of daily cashflow forecast.
- Weekly payment runs to suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Lead role in statutory audit for trading company.
- Quarterly VAT returns.
- Production of monthly management report.
- Weekly WIP monitoring and reporting.
- Ad hoc analysis and tasks as required, such as customer profitability reviews, ONS returns, CITB levy submissions, etc.
Qualifications include being fully qualified or working towards an accounting qualification, possessing strong analytical skills, having a good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems, and being confident in engaging with multiple stakeholders. Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
