Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of passive fire systems, including fire doors and fire stopping works.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with relevant regulations, British Standards, and building safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily work records and provide clear progress updates to customers.
- Diagnose issues and implement effective remedial solutions, escalating where required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels in accordance with company procedures and budgets.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Fire Protection and/or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential).
- Original qualification certificates must be produced at interview (copies and CSCS cards alone will not be accepted).
- Proven experience delivering fire works within a fire and security or property maintenance environment.
- Strong understanding of British Standards and current fire safety legislation.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using IT systems and mobile devices to log works.
- Full UK manual driving licence (essential role involves use of a company vehicle).
