Join ARC at an exciting stage of our growth and help us deliver better experiences for our clients, communities and people.

ARC is a growing electrical services business with social housing at the heart of what we do. We’re building a business known for quality, trusted service and strong relationships.

Our culture is shaped by the everyday things: taking responsibility, doing what we say we will do, treating people and their homes with respect, and supporting one another to deliver work we’re proud of.

At ARC, we want our people to feel trusted, have a voice and play a genuine part in shaping the business we become

What you’ll do

The way you deliver the work matters at ARC. We’re looking for an electrician who combines strong technical standards with genuine care for customers and their homes. Day to day, you’ll:

  • Carry out electrical testing, inspection and condition reporting and EICRs
  • Complete accurate certification and job records, making sure all documentation is clear and compliant
  • Diagnose faults, identify electrical defects and complete the remedial work needed to put things right
  • Deliver domestic installations, upgrades, repairs and planned or responsive maintenance
  • Work safely and efficiently, following current regulations, ARC procedures and client requirements
  • Manage your workload, keeping appointments on track and communicating early if anything changes
  • Treat every home with care and respect, keeping work areas tidy and minimising disruption for customers
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, clients and the wider ARC team
  • Explain the work being carried out, answer questions and resolve concerns in a calm and helpful way
  • Take pride in every job, looking for practical ways to improve the service and leave a positive impression of ARC

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a dependable, experienced electrician who is confident working independently in customers’ homes while staying connected to the wider ARC team.

You'll need:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification, or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong domestic electrical experience, including testing, fault finding and certification
  • A friendly, professional approach and the confidence to communicate clearly with customers
  • The ability to address questions or concerns calmly and give every customer a positive experience
  • Pride in your workmanship and close attention to detail
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work well as part of a team

Why ARC?

At ARC, you’ll be part of a close-knit team where people look out for one another and good work is recognised.

You’ll have the trust to get on with your job, the support to do it well and a team you can rely on when you need them.

As the business grows, there will be genuine opportunities to build your skills, broaden your experience and take on more responsibility.

We’re building ARC together, and your ideas and experience will help shape what comes next.

What we offer you

  • £39,000 salary, with overtime opportunities
  • Company van and Test Kit
  • Discretionary Bonus scheme
  • 28 days’ holiday, with the option to buy additional days if you would like more time off
  • Your Birthday off – because everyone deserves a day that’s all about them
  • Company Pension
  • A personal learning budget to help you develop your skills and invest in your professional growth.
  • Free mortgage advice with our Independent Financial Partner
  • Health plans & 24 hour GP Service to support your everyday health and wellbeing
  • Giving Back Days – up to x2 days per year volunteering as part of our social value strategy
  • Opportunities for progression and increased responsibility
  • Team days and social events – work hard, have fun and get to know the people you work with, outside the day job

Ready to work with ARC?

If you're a skilled domestic electrician looking for ongoing work with a growing business that values quality and long-term relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
