Job Title/Location: Implementations Project Team Leader, Surrey/WFH
Salary: To £79k + average bonus 15% (£11k) + pension contribution to 13% (£10k)
Office/WFH: 2 days office based + 3 days WFH
Requirements: Strong experience in the following - DB & DC pensions, project management, implementations and team lead experience
Role Snapshot: You will lead, mentor, train and motivate project management team members + project managing client and/or bulk projects
The Company/Team: This company has built a real reputation for developing people. The team looks after several implementation projects for corporate pension clients (Trustees & Scheme Sponsors). The team is responsible for end to end project management, including admin & governance and the purpose of the team is to be the single point of client contact during a project, supporting change management queries.
The Role: The focus of this Implementations Project Team Leader role is to lead a team of Project Managers. Business engagement is a key part of the role, seeing you work with multiple stakeholders (internal & external). You will also be proactive in determining any other needs or concerns a client may have and requirements needed to improve the effectiveness of the team. You will also be responsible for delivery of projects, both in the capacity of Lead/Sole Project Manager and as a supporting Project Manager for other team members. The main elements to this post are:
Lead, mentor, train and motivate project management team members
In addition to managing a team who will be delivering client projects, you will be responsible for the project management of client and/or bulk projects
Stakeholder management/engagement - working with clients, senior leadership & junior colleagues
Auditing and ensuring team members are on track with the workload and are following the agreed ways of working (regarding project artefacts & processes)
Experience/Skills Required: For this Implementations Project Team Leader role, you should have strong DB & DC pensions experience as well as a background including project management (PRINCE2 or equivalent) and team lead/management experience....
