West Midlands based business is seeking a paralegal for a great role with development opportunities to undertake a litigation focused in-house role. Arbuthnot Yon are working with a leading West Midlands based business which is seeking to recruit a paralegal to join their legal team. You will form part of a legal team and gain significant levels of support from qualified lawyers. The focus of this role is on supporting with a range of tasks including:
- Litigation
- Legal research
- Ad-hoc legal advice
Contentious matters include:
- Undertaking investigations
- Researching the legal position
- Drafting responses to pre-action correspondence
- Preparing and filing court forms
- Preparing document bundles
- Liaising with all parties and the court
This is a great opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic paralegal to join a leading organisation and gain excellent experience. Applications will only be considered from paralegals with at least 1 year’s previous experience of working as a paralegal in-house or in a law firm with experience gained in disputes. A hybrid working model is on offer with 3 days in the office in the West Midlands and 2 days at home. Sponsorship will not be provided.
