We are working with one of the largest financial services organisations across Asia, that has a strong and growing presence throughout Europe. The legal team of the investment banking arm is now looking for a transaction manager (qualified or non-qualified) with solid debt capital markets (DCM) to join their established legal team at VP level.

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

  • A broad scope of matters encompassing execution, negotiation and drafting of capital markets transactions;
  • Structured finance work including securitisation transactions, project bonds, repackagings and structured notes;
  • Review and negotiation of legal documentation pertaining to wider debt transactions (e.g. MTN programmes);
  • Equity Capital Markets transactional work when required;
  • Co-ordinating the legal review of commercial contracts on an ad-hoc basis.

This role is rare in its breadth and scope within DCM, so we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the ability to work across different products and have an appetite to further develop the breadth of the capital markets legal expertise. This team enjoys a very flexible and generous hybrid working policy which is typically 2-3 days in the office per week, a very healthy work-life balance.
