Legal Counsel

Arbuthnot Yon are working exclusively with a listed global business seeking to appoint 2 Legal Counsel to join their large, established legal team. We are keen to hear from bright junior to mid-level commercial lawyers with a good teamwork ethos seeking to develop their careers in-house.

Reporting into the Legal Director, the key focus of your role will involve advising on, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts from procurement to customer facing supply and out-sourcing agreements. You will also get involved in wider a range of legal issues including intellectual property, information technology, competition law, data privacy, supporting on litigation matters and compliance.

This role is a great first time in-house move to join a blue-chip business where you will be supported and guided by more experienced lawyers. The business culture is friendly and relaxed and you will have lots of interaction across the legal team and wider business.

This position would be suited to a junior to mid-level lawyer (ideally 2 to 6 years PQE) from a commercial background who is keen to move into a business and have a commercially focused role where you will build and maintain strong relationships between Legal and commercial colleagues across the organisation, including the commercial teams and senior stakeholders.
