We are working with one of the largest financial services organisations across Asia, which has a strong and growing presence throughout Europe. This bank has harnessed a consistent and stable flow of business and continues to perform well, despite current economic conditions affecting other international banks, so it is a great time to join.
As a result of this strong performance, the EMEA legal team is now looking for a Paralegal to join their Leveraged Finance legal team, for an initial period of 12 months. The candidate must be available within 1 month or less. If allowing for the interview period and Christmas break, must be able to start no later than the first week of January, but ideally before.
What will the role involve:
- Key tasks will relate to the review, drafting and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in the context of both front-office transactions and other contracts ;
- liaise with front office and other stakeholders to support the efficient execution of documentation in accordance with internal requirements and policies;
- assist the legal team with other transactional matters or projects as required.
What skill-sets are we looking for?
- The person should have a degree in English law and MUST have relevant paralegal experience in the UK from either a leveraged finance team or debt finance/lending experience.
- Proficiency in using IT software products (e.g. Microsoft Office);
- Good communication skills (including a business level of spoken and written English); commercially minded.
