A rare opportunity has arisen for a Disputes Lawyer or Legal Executive to join the established, high-performing legal team of a FTSE 100 business. In this newly shaped role, you’ll work closely with the Customer and Debt teams, advising on a wide range of customer disputes and debt-related matters. This is an exciting time to join as the business is undergoing positive change and expanding its in-house litigation capability, giving you the chance to help shape how disputes and claims are managed across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the go-to adviser for customer disputes and debt-related issues.
  • Partnering with operational teams to proactively manage and resolve disputes.
  • Overseeing a high volume of matters, ensuring processes align with regulatory and SRA requirements.
  • Playing both a strategic and hands-on role in how the business mitigates risk and improves dispute-handling.
  • Building strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ PQE.
  • A strong background in disputes, ideally with debt recovery or customer-facing contentious experience.
  • Someone who enjoys partnering with the business, influencing outcomes, and working collaboratively.
