We are supporting a 12-month FTC opportunity within one of the UK’s most forward-thinking, purpose-driven energy businesses. This organisation sits at the forefront of the UK’s journey to net zero, with a genuinely positive, empowering culture and a legal team known for its collaboration, stability and long-term investment in people.
The business — and its legal function — are continuing to grow, creating real scope for longer-term opportunities beyond the initial contract. You’ll be joining at an exciting time, with the chance to contribute to major projects shaping the UK’s sustainable energy future.
You’ll work alongside experienced specialists on complex, high-value construction, projects and commercial matters. The work is strategic, impactful and intellectually stimulating — and you’ll be surrounded by colleagues who are generous with their time, pragmatic in their approach, and committed to your development.
This role would suit:
- A private practice lawyer with strong Construction & Projects or Commercial Contracts experience who is ready for a high-quality first move in-house, or
- An ambitious in-house lawyer looking to deepen their exposure to specialist construction/project work in a fast-paced, future-focused organisation.
Package: Salary up to £75k (DOE) plus bonus and excellent benefits.
Working pattern: Very flexible working — open to full-time or part-time.
Location: Hybrid working with only 2 days per week in the office (West or East Midlands).
