Overview
We are a well-established High Street Solicitors in Goring by Sea, Worthing. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Residential Conveyancer to join our busy and friendly team.
The Role
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous relevant experience in residential conveyancing including:
- Opening files on case management system (although training will be given)
- Carrying out identity checks
- Carrying out land registry searches
- Submitting land registry applications
- Submitting stamp duty and land tax returns
- Preparing contracts
- Applying for local searches
- Dealing with completions
- Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Be IT literate, have good keyboard skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Possess good attention to detail
- Be able to work well in a team, as well as being self-motivated to work independently where required
- To communicate with clients, estate agents and other third parties in person and on telephone
- Be flexible with a βcan-doβ approach, and the willingness and ability to adapt to the needs of the business
We anticipate the role will be full-time, hours and salary are negotiable.
