We are seeking an enthusiastic and communicativeHome School Liaison Assistant to act as a bridge between home and school. Youwill work closely with families, helping to support students' educational andemotional development by ensuring clear communication and fostering positiverelationships between school and home.
Key Responsibilities:
- To take a lead role in Early Help inconjunction with the home school liaison manager and DSL to identifyvulnerable students who might benefit from Early Help support and attendmeetings
- To actively promote positive relationshipsbetween school and home setting in support of our pupils and theirfamilies, enhancing parent/carer engagement with the school and otherexternal agencies
- Promote and develop stakeholder engagement,including networking with external agencies and the voluntary sector insupporting/meeting needs of our more vulnerable children
- Enhance communication between school andhome, recognising the multi-cultural community and diversity of needs thatthe school serves
Key Requirements:
- GCSEs (orequivalent) in English and Maths, grade 4/C or above.
- Evidence ofrelevant safeguarding and child protection training.
- Willingnessto undertake further professional development relevant to the role.
Experienceof supporting safeguarding, attendance, early help, or pastoral interventions
