About the Role

We are seeking professional and compassionate Secure Transport Officers to join our team on a flexible, bank staff basis. This role involves providing safe, dignified, and therapeutically informed transport for vulnerable young people, ensuring their welfare, safety, and emotional support at all times.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, with the option to also pick up additional shifts as a Therapeutic Support Worker within our residential services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport young people while maintaining a calm, supportive environment
  • Build positive, professional relationships and act as a strong role model
  • Support emotional wellbeing during transitions and periods of stress
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet care plans and outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures at all times

About You

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
  • Empathetic, non‑judgmental, and able to maintain professional boundaries
  • Committed to safeguarding and confidentiality
  • Level 4 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service

Desirable

  • Experience working with children or in residential/secure transport settings

Work Location

You will be based at our head office in Warrington; however, the role will primarily involve local and national travel, with occasional overnight stays required.
