The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in leading our 2 4 bed children’s homes. You’ll help deliver outstanding care, lead staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will be required to have extensive knowledge of the following legislation: Children’s Act, Children’s Homes Regulations, OFSTED Regulations (REG 40, 44 45).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist all staff in day-to-day home management, providing leadership, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Implement and adhere to all relevant legislation for Children’s Homes (Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Care Standards and the SCCIF), driving continuous improvement through knowledge share and education with the team.
  • Support all staff to ensure you are all fully compliant with the company’s policies, procedures, legislation and social policy.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, risk assessment, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
