We are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team and lead our maintenance engineering function across two fast-paced production environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with team leadership and wants to make a real impact on engineering standards, reliability and production performance. The Role As Engineering Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled maintenance engineers working on a rotating shift pattern. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities while also providing hands-on electrical and mechanical engineering support. You will work closely with Production Managers and Supervisors to plan maintenance activity, respond to breakdowns and ensure planned maintenance is completed effectively, helping to minimise production downtime. The successful candidate will be confident leading a team, troubleshooting engineering issues and driving improvements in standards and team culture. Key Responsibilities · Lead, supervise and support a team of maintenance engineers. · Prioritise and coordinate fault diagnosis and rectification work. · Provide hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance support. · Respond to breakdowns and assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM). · Work closely with Production Managers and Supervisors to plan maintenance activities. · Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales. · Minimise production downtime through effective fault diagnosis, planning and preventative maintenance.
