Arbor Forest Products Ltd is currently seeking Production Operatives to join our team on a temporary basis for a 6-month period. This role involves working on a rotating two-shift pattern within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Working under the instruction of the Machinist and Shift Supervisor
- Ticketing and processing customer orders
- Skidding and stacking of packs
- Carrying out daily housekeeping duties
- Operating in-house machinery, including shrink-wrap machines and Forklift Truck (FLT) - if trained
- Reporting maintenance and quality issues as required
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Supporting machinery operation during busy periods, including overtime where required
- Providing holiday and sickness cover when necessary
- During peak periods, flexibility may be required, including changes to shift patterns and potential night shift working.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Forklift or counterbalance licence (desirable)
- Basic numeracy and English skills
- In-house machine training will be provided
