We are looking for a reliable and motivated Shunter Driver to join our team at our New Holland site. This is a day-shift-only position offering stable hours and the opportunity to work within a well-established and growing business. If you have experience as a shunter driver, please get in touch.

Main Duties:

  • Coordinate the movement of trailers on-site to ensure timely loading
  • Manage trailer park areas efficiently
  • Assist visiting drivers in adhering to site rules
  • Carry out vehicle checks to prevent defective trailers from being loaded
  • Monitor trailer availability and report shortages to the Loading Supervisor
  • Secure or assist in securing loads for timely departures
  • Close trailer curtains on loaded trailers at shift end and during adverse weather conditions
  • Complete occasional customer deliveries as required
  • Run vehicles to vendors for servicing
  • Support general yard activities including de-skidding
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within the yard
