About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff Engineer to join our Engineering team focused on the Core MIS domain. In this critical role, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the Core MIS platform, ensuring architectural consistency and excellence across multiple teams building and maintaining mission-critical features. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into innovative, scalable, and maintainable technology solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with strong architectural expertise and the ability to mentor engineering teams toward excellence.
Core responsibilities
- Define and maintain a clear technical vision and roadmap for the Core MIS platform aligned with business strategy.
- Lead architectural reviews and ensure implementations adhere to Arbor’s standards for quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product Directors, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with product goals.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to multiple engineering teams, balancing coding involvement with strategic oversight.
- Mentor and support growth of engineers and technical leads in architectural best practices and engineering excellence.
- Champion code quality, test coverage, performance optimization, and security standards across the domain.
