About the role

We are looking for a collaborative and forward‑thinking Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and help competitively position and successfully release new features and products in partnership with the Product team. The remit and focus of the role is to contribute to our annual Product Marketing strategy across go‑to‑market, differentiation, enablement, pricing and adoption. It’s a broad and exciting role, so we’re looking for someone ready for a challenge.

Core responsibilities

  • Planning and Strategy: Contribute to our annual Product Marketing strategy across go‑to‑market, differentiation, enablement, pricing and adoption. Business partner with Product Lead for your product suite, and with peers in Marketing, to enable teams to hit commercial and customer goals. Deeply understand our market, customer and product suite, establishing yourself as an authority. Generate insights and research that inform planning and messaging.
  • Delivery and Results: Go‑to‑market planning and pricing. Bring new features to market for the product set, ensuring success for new business and existing customers. Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer to ensure they get what they need from releases. Work with internal teams on pricing implementation.
  • Product Adoption: Work with Customer Success Managers and Product Managers on programmes that drive customer value from our products.
  • Storytelling and Sales Enablement: Craft compelling, differentiated product‑level positioning and key messages for Arbor’s products and new feature releases. Understand competitors and how to message Arbor to win against each of them. Co‑own our sales enablement collateral library to improve win rate. Develop insight‑driven customer personas and win themes for key roles in schools, MATs and LAs. Own messaging and positioning that describes the value of Arbor for the target customer segment.
  • Systems and Data: Understand data quality and system setup for Gainsight, HubSpot, Salesforce and other relevant systems. Be an expert in using our systems to achieve goals and deliver programmes.
  • Other: Be a brand custodian, helping to train others in our tone of voice. Occasionally write blogs.

Requirements

  • Background: Extensive experience in B2B product marketing or brand marketing.
  • Messaging and positioning: Expert storyteller, natural at crafting compelling messaging and making copy shine.
  • Go‑to‑market: Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to launch features that drive key metrics like NRR. Understanding of pricing principles. Experience working with digital product and B2B sales teams to bring products to market. Thrives at the intersection of strategy and process, helping cross‑functional teams execute.
  • Technical skills: A passion for data analysis, advocacy for customers and critical thinking. Confidence to present and explain ideas; resilient under pressure. Strong aesthetic skills, keen eye for maximizing collateral impact to build brand equity. Experience with customer research and surveys.
  • Ways of working: Willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done at pace, leveraging prioritization and organisational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines. Strong collaboration and communication skills, articulating complex ideas effectively. Bias for action; no task is too big or small.
