Arāya Ventures – Investment Analyst Application Form
Arāya Ventures is hiring an Investment Analyst to help find and back exceptional founders through the Super Angel Fund, our UK-focused fund.
This is a role for someone ambitious who wants ownership and responsibility early. You’ll work directly with the fund’s partner, bring in your own deals and help drive investments through the full process, from first founder meeting to diligence, Investment Committee and completion.
You’ll have the autonomy to pursue opportunities, space to develop your own investment views and a voice in the decisions we make. As you build conviction and demonstrate judgement, there’s significant room to grow your contribution and responsibilities.
What you’ll do:
- Find promising startups and build relationships with founders, investors and others across the UK ecosystem.
- Meet founding teams and assess their businesses, markets, traction and growth potential.
- Drive diligence, analyse financials and investment terms, and identify risks.
- Write investment memos, make recommendations and contribute to Investment Committee discussions.
- Work with founders and advisers to move investments through to completion.
- Stay close to portfolio companies and help founders access useful connections and support.
- Spot opportunities to improve our processes and use AI and other tools to make research, diligence and reporting more efficient.

- You’re immersed in the space. You follow startups and venture capital, explore new ideas and have opinions on what’s worth backing.
- You enjoy building relationships. You’re personable, curious about people and comfortable reaching out and developing your own network.
- You have independent judgement. You assess founders thoughtfully, look beyond a strong pitch and speak up when something doesn’t add up.
- You’re analytical and thorough. You can investigate a business, challenge assumptions and turn the detail into a clear recommendation.
We’re open to all backgrounds. What matters most is your curiosity, initiative, enthusiasm for the space and willingness to learn. We’re more interested in how you think, connect with people and approach opportunities than the names on your CV. Connections in the UK startup ecosystem are a plus, but you don’t need an existing network or previous VC experience to apply.
