Aranstone is a specialist advisory and operating investment firm focused on founder and family-owned businesses across Southern England. We provide discreet, senior-level support to resolve trading and structural challenges, professionalise operations, and build long-term enterprise value. Our clients are privately owned businesses generating between £1.5M and £25M in revenue, facing trading pressures, performance plateaus, or exit challenges. We work closely with a small number of regional businesses, offering hands-on, board-level support and partnering only where there is a shared commitment to results and values.

Our business is growing, and we urgently need a really proactive, patient and tenacious VA to help us maintain our outbound marketing activity.

Role Description

Job Title:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly reliable and proactive Virtual Assistant to support direct outreach and lead generation efforts for a professional consulting and investment business based in the UK.

This is a part-time, long-term role ideal for someone with strong written English.

You MUST have experience using:

  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Confidence and patience in managing bespoke outbound email activity across a list of UK businesses and partners.
  • In researching other opportunities and organisations to support ongoing lead generation.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Managing and scheduling direct outbound emails (via our email service) to a prebuilt list of UK business contacts (cold email outreach – no selling)
  • Running lead generation and connection campaigns via LinkedIn using Sales Navigator
  • Researching and compiling lists of potential brokers, advisers, and SME business targets
  • Managing and cleaning CRM/contact lists (basic spreadsheet or CRM use)
  • Supporting weekly reporting and keeping track of outreach and replies

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience using LinkedIn for B2B outreach (Sales Navigator or similar)
  • Experience with cold email software tools
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Professional and discreet – must handle confidential information with care

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of the UK SME or professional services market
  • Prior experience working with consultants, investors, or dealmakers
  • Familiarity with lead generation, cold outreach, or CRM tools

Hours:

Approx 10 to 15 hours per week (split as 2 to 3 hours per day on a steady proactive schedule) with the potential to increase based on performance and fit.
