Please note that this role is based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent, residential basis. Aramco energizes the world economy and occupies a unique position in the global energy industry. We are the world's largest producer of hydrocarbons (oil and gas), with the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any major producer.

Overview: We are seeking a Safety Advisor to join the Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention organization (LP). LP is responsible for providing both day‐to‐day in‐field occupational and process safety support to Saudi Aramco operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function. Our field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to all Saudi Aramco facilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom.

Your primary role is to provide daily support to company facilities and departments, helping them effectively implement the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System expectations and associated programs, as well as assuring compliance to all company safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate implementation of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System, including developing associated safety processes, and participating in self‐assessments.
  • Conduct field inspections/reviews to assess compliance to company and international codes and standards, identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost‐effective corrective actions.
  • Identify, evaluate, recommend actions, and follow up on critical safety tasks and control methodologies related to operational safety practices.
  • Participate in safety studies/activities using risk assessment and mitigation methodologies.
  • Respond to emergency situations and incidents to provide technical assistance and advice.
  • Participate in worksite contractor safety management activities.
  • Support the reporting, classification and investigation of all incidents, and participate in incident investigations.
  • Deliver Loss Prevention‐specific training to employees, contractors, and outside parties.
  • Mentor other LP personnel.

You will hold a Bachelor of Science degree from an Accredited Institution and seven years of experience in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related industries, or you will have 15 years of relevant industry experience without a degree. You will also have an excellent ability to communicate in English and produce clear and concise oral and written reports.
