We are seeking a senior Production Engineer to join Unconventional Production Engineering Department (URPED) within the Unconventional Resources. URPED is responsible for providing production engineering support to Aramco Unconventional gas fields, including setting up gas production strategy, production analysis and optimization, completion design, artificial lift lifting and well integrity. Your primary role is to perform day to day production engineering support for unconventional gas fields, including but not limited to production system analysis for naturally flowing and artificially lifted wells, in addition to well testing, well integrity, well intervention planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production system analysis for unconventional gas wells to ensure meeting production targets.
  • Perform predictive analysis for liquid loading prediction for artificial lift installation planning.
  • Provide technical support for well intervention and well integrity activities.
  • Design plunger lift and rod lift systems for gas well deliquification.
  • Provide technical support for artificial lift selection, facilities design basis requirements, well completion for natural flow and artificial lift systems.
  • Work with other unconventional departments to align well completion, drilling, surface facilities interface activities to ensure.
  • Provide daily support for production data management to ensure and validate well testing reports, well activities record and update production forecast.

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from a recognized and approved program. Master degree is an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in subsurface production engineering for sour gas fields including at least 5 years in unconventional fields.
  • Professional in using production system analysis software and artificial lift design software.
