Please note that this role is based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent, residential basis. Aramco energizes the world economy. We are seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist to join our Digital & IT (D&IT) Strategy & Investment Department, specifically within the D&IT Governance Risk & Compliance Division (D&ITGRCD). D&ITGRCD are responsible to consolidate and coordinate all internal and external mandates related to compliance, governance and risk. Furthermore, for the management of D&IT risk register, audit management & compliance self-reviews, and OE coordination.

You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing robust governance frameworks across Aramco's D&IT and Aramco group companies. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the division's success in managing governance, risks, and compliance, while fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to industry best practices. You will help D&ITGRCD to avail the right tools, solutions, and frameworks to fulfil its roles and responsibilities across the whole Aramco group companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Governance: Provide expert support to establish and maintain governance across Aramco's group companies and internally within D&IT, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building: Extend expertise to the D&ITGRCD team through internal training, assessments, and guidance to obtain professional accredited certifications, thereby enhancing the team's capabilities.
  • Executive-Level Reporting and Presentations: Develop high-quality executive-level reports and presentations to inform stakeholders and decision-makers about governance, risk, and compliance matters.
  • Event Representation: Support the D&ITGRD's presence at local and international events, conferences, and forums, promoting Aramco's governance and compliance excellence.
  • Governance Project Development: Develop governance project charters, governing body roles and responsibilities (RAICs), governance strategies, communication protocols, deployment schedules, and formal change management plans.
  • Governance Framework Development: Design and implement COBIT and IT governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Develop cost-benefits analysis, gap analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure the governance performance. Conduct IT performance assessment, maturity level evaluation and develop improvements target setting.

You must hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent Bachelor degree in relevant fields. You should have more than 20 years of experience in D&IT governance, with at least 10 years of experience in developing and deploying COBIT and D&IT governance frameworks. You should have more than 10 years of experience in deploying D&IT projects as well as providing D&IT consultation and training. You should hold the following accredited professional certifications: COBIT® Design and Implementation certificate, Certified CMMI Professional.
