We are seeking a Market Analyst (Light Ends) to join our newly established team.

Key accountabilities:

· Develop and maintain supply/demand models to understand market balances and guide trading decisions

· Leverage models, along with a deep knowledge of various market factors, to formulate a point-of-view and identify signposts/risks

· Conduct comprehensive analysis of energy market fundamentals and trade flows

· Provide timely and accurate reports on market issues to senior management

· Consult on the impact of geopolitical or economic developments on market fundamentals

· Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of market forecasting and reporting

· Mentor and guide junior analysts in the team

· Performing other miscellaneous duties as directed

Professional experience required:

· Degree qualified

· Significant work experience in a trading or energy company focusing on fundamental market analysis, particularly in the area of petroleum trade balances and/or short-term price forecasting

· Strong understanding of Refining economics

· Experience with advanced analytical tools/coding languages.

The company has a widely diverse employee base with expertise in all aspects of the oil trading market. The rapidly expanding London team compliments our global network and provides constant coverage across all time zones. ATL is an active participant in hydrocarbon trading in Europe, Africa and the Americas, with wide variety of crude grades and different petroleum products. The Company has also been expanding its activities to include GAS business where trading Liquefied Petroleum Products (LPG) and Lignified Natural Gas (LNG) form part of the growing portfolio.
