Pay rate: £14.42 per hour

Hours: Permanent, 38.5 hours per week, Mon to Fri with occasional weekends

Shift times: 0730 to 1730

We're looking for a Storeman to join our team at HMP Oakwood working with enhanced prisoners. This is a brilliant opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and delivering an essential service - all within family friendly daytime hours.

What you'll do:

  • Providing support to the Stores Department in its various functions.
  • Collection & delivery of stores and equipment.
  • Support other storekeepers as and when necessary.

What we're looking for:

  • Resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work.
  • Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Possession of a current driving licence (desirable).
  • Previous experience in stores/warehousing desirable, especially in a military environment, would be an advantage.
  • Applicants must be skilled in the use of Office 365.
  • Able to use Outlook/Word/Excel/SharePoint at a basic level.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
