We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team at Elizabeth Barracks in Pirbright. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your culinary career within a global leader in hospitality and catering services. As a Chef, you will play a key role in food preparation and production, ensuring high standards and minimal waste. You will also support and mentor new team members, helping them learn kitchen procedures and standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner services.
  • Deliver silver service-level catering for functions and hospitality events.
  • Follow recipe cards and maintain food safety standards.
  • Assist with stock checks, food orders, and kitchen records.
  • Monitor and record temperatures of kitchen equipment.
  • Participate in daily and weekly deep cleaning routines.
  • Support and coach new team members.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Relevant culinary qualifications (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent).
  • A confident team player with effective communication skills.
  • Flexible and innovative approach to work.
  • Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
