Aramark UK is hiring a Till Assistant at Idsall School, TF11 8PD. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all employees and workers to share this commitment. Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first point of contact
  • Handle customer enquiries, help with menu items, and provide information on promotions or specials
  • Resolve basic customer concerns or escalate issues to a supervisor when necessary
  • Operate the till/POS system accurately for cash, card, voucher, and digital payments
  • Process sales transactions swiftly, ensuring accuracy in pricing and totals
  • Issue receipts, handle returns or exchanges following company policy
  • Maintain responsible cash handling practices, including counting and balancing the till at the start and end of shifts
  • Keep the till area clean, organised, and presentable
  • Assist with queue management during busy periods
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth overall operations
  • Support other front-of-house tasks when required, such as seating guests, serving, or helping with takeaways
