Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at Coleg Cambria, Ruthin, LL15 2LB. You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

  • This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week, shifts range Monday – Friday between 7:30 am until 2:00 pm on a Rota basis, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary. This is a term time only role.
  • The hourly rate is Β£12.21.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
  • General kitchen duties, including food preparation, cooking including making sandwiches and cold food.
  • General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service.
  • Till work and taking payments.
  • Restocking items and stock rotation.
  • General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.

We aim for all staff to be multi skilled, flexible with a can-do attitude, we provide full training and support both on the job and via our e-learning portal.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work.
  • Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous experience (if relevant).
