Alton Towers Resort is looking for a passionate and driven Restaurant Manager to join our high-energy Food & Beverage team, leading operations at our exciting Rollercoaster Restaurant. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee both Front of House and Kitchen Operations, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading Front of House and Kitchen Operations to deliver a seamless, efficient, and high-quality guest experience
- Coaching and providing consistent feedback to the Kitchen Manager and Front of House Assistant Managers to achieve operational excellence and uphold company standards
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
- Managing staff performance, including recruitment, training, performance management, and conducting team appraisals
- Driving commercial profitability by controlling cost of goods, optimising labour deployment, and actively reducing waste
- Ensuring restaurant KPIs for food service, food quality, and value for money are consistently achieved
- Planning and managing tactical operating hours and staffing levels, particularly during off-peak periods, to maximise efficiency and overall profit

Essential Criteria
- Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive restaurant experience with a strong understanding of food safety standards
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and current food safety legislation
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
