We are recruiting a Steward to join our team working at DST Leconfield, HU17 7LX. You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of quality laundry, accommodation, mess-room, and janitorial services, always adhering to health and safety standards.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:

  • You must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • You must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

  • This is a part-time position, 25 hours/week, (shift pattern, 5 days over 7 including weekends). Shifts range between 06:30 and 23:00.
  • The pay rate is £12.21/hour.

A day in the life of a Steward:

  • Serving food and/or beverages to customers.
  • Cash handling and till operation.
  • Occasional bar work.
  • General housekeeping, including kitchen cleaning, pot washing, and dishwashing.
  • Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method.
  • Report to the line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
  • Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
