We are recruiting a Steward to join our team working at Fort George. You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of quality laundry, accommodation, mess-room, and janitorial services, always adhering to health and safety standards.
To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements, you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. You must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.

- This is a full-time position, £12.21/hour, 35 hours per week, (shift pattern, 5 days over 7 including weekends). Shifts range between 06:30 and 21:00, leaving your evenings free.

A day in the life of a Steward:
- Serving food and/or beverages to customers.
- Cash handling and till operation.
- Occasional bar work.
- General housekeeping, including kitchen cleaning, pot wash, and dishwashing.
- Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method.
- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
- Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work.
- Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
