We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at MBDA to help create a welcoming space for our customers. If you love working with people and want a role that offers flexibility, training, and career growth, this could be the perfect fit.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks according to established menus and recipes.
  • Assist the kitchen with food preparation where required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to customers during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
  • Ideally have experience working within catering.
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic.
