What You\’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead daily kitchen operations when the Head Chef is off-site, producing high-quality food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Manage and support the team to ensure a smooth, efficient kitchen each day
  • Prepare dishes to recipe specifications, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control
  • Monitor and minimise food waste, track stock levels, place orders, and maintain accurate records
  • Receive deliveries and ensure all items are stored correctly following FIFO principles
  • Maintain exceptional hygiene standards and oversee regular deep cleans
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained in their sections and compliant with food safety procedures
  • Support team development and lead by example in a positive and professional environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years\’ experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Senior CDP in a fast-paced environment
  • A relevant culinary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
  • A proactive leader who can motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and regular access to a vehicle (essential)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and residency for at least the past 3 years
  • Ability to pass enhanced DBS and full security vetting
  • A successful trade test will be required as part of the interview process
