Are you an experienced retail leader who thrives on accountability, structure, and high standards? Aramark UK has an exciting opportunity for a Shop Manager to take full ownership of an onsite retail operation within a secure Immigration Removal Centre in Kidlington. This is a critical leadership role with real impact - offering responsibility, stability, and the chance to manage a compliant, high performing retail service in a highly regulated environment.

The role: As Shop Manager, you will provide overall leadership, control, and assurance for the onsite retail operation. You'll be fully accountable for performance, ensuring the shop operates safely, compliantly, and profitably, while always meeting contractual and customer expectations. You will take ownership of financial governance, stock integrity, people management, and compliance - ensuring retail services are delivered consistently, transparently, and to the highest standards, while minimising risk to both Aramark UK and our client.

This role plays a key part in supporting Aramark UK's wider strategy by:

  • Protecting revenue and margin through strong financial and stock controls
  • Delivering a reliable, customer focused retail service aligned to contractual commitments
  • Developing capable teams and supporting succession and operational resilience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for financial control and audit assurance, including cash and cashless transactions, stock management, variance investigation, and reporting
  • Operational leadership of the shop, ensuring it is correctly staffed, resourced, and effectively managed day to day
  • Oversight of compliance and risk management, with particular focus on security, health
