Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Caterpillar Peterlee on a 3-5 month temporary contract. You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.
What we offer:
- 20 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 16:30 – 21:30
- £12.21ph

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:
- Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
- Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Stocking up and putting away deliveries.
- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
