Hours: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (includes some weekends)
Shift times: Between 08:00 and 16:00/16:30
About the role: You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, supporting and leading kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth function of the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of chefs and kitchen assistants, delivering around 1,000 meals, three times a day.
- Prepare basic quality foods within a pre‑ordered menu.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and conduct accurate stock checks.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Undertake required training.
Qualifications:
- Resided in the UK for the last 3 years and hold legal right to work.
- Pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- One of the following qualifications or equivalent: BSC (Catering), MHCIM, HND, City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, NVQ level 2 and 3.
- Knowledge of health and safety.
- CIEH level 2 qualification or equivalent.
