- Job Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professionaland efficient customer service to students, staffand visitors.
- Prepare and serve Starbuckshot and cold beverages to required brand standards.
- Serve food, snacksand other products across the catering operation.
- Operate tills and process cash/card transactions accurately.
- Maintainclean, attractiveand fully stocked counters, displaysand service areas.
- Replenish and rotate stock andassistwith deliveries.
- Follow food safety, allergen, Health &Safetyand safeguarding procedures.
- Maintainhigh standardsof hygiene, cleanlinessand presentation, including general cleaning duties.
- Assistwith opening and closing duties asrequired.
- Work as part of the wider catering team and support other college catering areas and general duties asrequired.
Key Requirements
- Previouscatering, hospitality, retail, coffeeshopor customer service experience desirable but not essential; training provided.
- Friendly, positiveand customer-focused approach withgood communicationskills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, flexibleand willing to support different catering areas.
- Good attention to detail andhigh standardsof cleanliness and presentation.
- Willingness to learn barista skills and prepare beverages to Starbucks standards.
- Basic food hygiene/allergen/Health & Safety awareness desirable; full training provided.
