Ready to bring great service and a friendly smile to our bar? We’re looking for a Steward to join our team at RAF Woodvale and help create a welcoming space for our customers. We’re part of a small but dedicated team providing hospitality services for Defence and no two days are the same. This can include serving food, cleaning, occasional bar work, housekeeping, and customer services, always adhering to health and safety standards.
To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:
- You must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
- You must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you’ll do:
- Serving food and/or beverages to customers.
- Till operation.
- Occasional bar work.
- General housekeeping.
- Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method.
- Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
- Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.
What we’re looking for:
- Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork – able to work within a team environment to ensure efficient operations.
- Flexibility – ability to adapt to changing needs working weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Attention to detail – a keen eye for detail in service.
