- Job Responsibilities
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Prepare and serve hot food in line with company standards and food safety regulations.
- Carry out bake-off preparation of bread, pastries, and other bakery items.
- Complete daily temperature checks, date checks, and food safety records.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the deli area.
- Assist with stock rotation and replenishment.
- Support the wider shop team, including till operations and general store duties when the deli area is quiet.
- Build positive relationships with regular customers and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous deli, food service, retail, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
